Follow up to Lambing and Sheep management Course Saturday/Sunday 26th/27th May 2012
In response to many requests we are offering a follow up to lambing weekend. If you would like to join us, we would be happy to see you to discuss your successes and failures and to develop strategies to avoid problems in the future. We also have had requests for foot trimming, dosing, injecting, condition scoring of ewes and assessing lambs for slaughter. Electric fence management with a view to good grazing/grass management can also be included along with many other topics. If you are interested please let us know as soon as possible so that we can develop the weekend to meet your needs. Any suggestions/requests for topics to include in the weekend programme are welcomed. Cost is £75 per person per day, or £140 for the two days. Course runs from 10am-4pm and lunch and full notes are included. Possible programme: Saturday: lambing debrief, worming, flystrike prevention, grass management Sunday: Condition scoring, foot trimming, fat lamb selection
